Cornhusker Marriott – 5:30pm to 6:30pm
One Hour of CLE (MCLE #TBD)
SYNOPSIS:
Recent studies have shown that American workers are disengaged and unhappy. Similar studies have found that the numbers actually may be worse for attorneys. Increasing levels of anxiety, depression and substance use are alarming and directly impact our ability to meet our ethical obligations. Lawyers are facing more pressure than ever. Time demands. Rate deflation. Lack of proper training. A rising number of malpractice claims. A lack of skill building or meaningful work. All have created a deep need for finding new purpose in our work and our lives. Join us for the Lincoln Bar Association’s November CLE which explores our ethical obligations and how they are intertwined with our health; the challenges we anticipate lawyers will face; and skills every lawyer needs to handle the pressures of daily practice.
