A panel of judges, court administrators and the media will discuss expanded media access to Nebraska trial courts brought about by the recent amendment to our Nebraska trial court rules.  Panelists include:

• Justice Jeff Funke, Nebraska Supreme Court;
• Judge Holly Parsley, Lancaster County Court;
• Janet Bancroft, Supreme Court Public Information Officer;
• Jared Gavin, Lancaster County District Court Administrator;
• Bill Kelly, NETV.

Listen and learn about the evolution of media coverage of court proceedings, where it’s been and where it is headed, as well as a discussion of specific issues that arise.

Schedule

• Cash Bar Opens: 5:00 pm
• Clinic: 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm
• Social Hour/ Dinner: 6:30 pm (or immediately following Clinic)

Dinner

• Buffet:
  • Two Entrées:  Beef Lasagna and Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast with Saffron Cream Sauce
  • Side Dishes: Green Bean Almondine, Tomatoes and Mozzarella, and Minestrone Soup
• Cheesecake and Tiramisu Dessert Shots
• Iced tea, coffee and cash bar

A vegetarian entrées option will also be available upon request, with buffet line access to the side dishes.
