This is a live event that will take place at the Cornhusker Marriott’s Renaissance Room. It will also be live streamed via Zoom. The Nebraska MCLE Commission has approved this Clinic for one (1) hour of CLE.

You have the option to just attend the Clinic or also stay for dinner. Dinner will be a plated meal. You have the option of Marinated Pork Loin Chop or a vegetarian option.

SPEAKER INFORMATION
John Berry Jr. specializes in criminal defense and veteran’s issues. John served in the United States Army and the Nebraska National Guard for more than 20 years. After receiving his commission as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army, John completed Airborne School and Ranger School. In 1999, while assigned to the First Cavalry Division, he deployed to Bosnia for Operation Joint Forge as a platoon leader. John also served as a Company Commander in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. John finished his military career as a Battalion Commander in the National Guard and retired as a lieutenant colonel.
John graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia (B.A. 1997) and Creighton University School of Law, cum laude (2003). He is also a graduate of the National Criminal Defense College at Mercer Law School in Macon, Georgia (2004). John maintains an AV Preeminent designation from Martindale Hubbell, and has been recognized as one of the National Trial Lawyers’ Top 100 Trial Lawyers for over 7 years. John has presented and lectured in the areas of criminal defense trial skills, veterans’ disability appeals, and military leadership.

All CLE clinics, including dinner, are included in your dues.
The Lincoln Bar Association (LBA) will not be reporting your attendance to the Nebraska MCLE Commission / Nebraska Supreme Court Attorney Services Division unless you are current LBA member or pay your membership dues within fifteen (15) days after the Clinic.
