Out with the Old, In with the New!

In a new event this year, join the Lincoln Bar Association for an evening of giving and laughter at its Annual Business Meeting.

First, bring your used business attire to donate to Job Outfitters, a program serving women and men in the Lincoln community through offerings of career clothing, hope and encouragement. Job Outfitters, now operating through the partnership of two long-standing non-profits, YWCA of Lincoln and Goodwill Industries, serves members of the community who are working in and seeking to work in a variety of professions. So bring your career-wear that doesn’t fit and help support this worthwhile Lincoln charity! Cash donations in lieu of in-kind donations will be accepted at the event.

The evening will start at the Nebraska Club, 20th Floor US Bank Building, 233 S. 13th Street at 5:15 p.m. for cocktails followed by the Annual meeting being called to order at 5:30 p.m. This year’s slate of board members includes:

Treasurer:     Andrea Snowden

New Board Members:    Coady Pruett, Corey Wasserburger and the Honorable Timothy Phillips

Immediately following the election the real fun begins with comedy entertainment from Willie Farrell, a renowned performer who is sure to bring the funny to LBA!  Willie is known for his engaging, crowd-pleasing hilarity. You won’t want to miss this!

We will wind down the evening with great conversation and dinner being served at 6:30 p.m..

If you plan to attend please email Valerie Walker at rsvp@lincolnbarassociation.com by April 15, 2015. When notifying Valerie please indicate whether you will only be staying for the Business Meeting or whether you will also be staying for dinner. In addition, please indicate whether you need a vegetarian meal.
