DESCRIPTION
This Clinic will be a roundtable discussion of issues in landlord and tenant law with perspectives from civil litigation, government, and assistance program backgrounds.

DINNER
You have the option to just attend the Clinic or also stay for dinner. Dinner will be a plated meal. You have the option of Chicken Roulade or the vegetarian option of Panna Cotta. All dinners will be served with: Garden Salad, Root Veggies, Lemon Garlic Haricot Verts and Panna Cotta.

SPEAKER INFORMATION
Jan Beran has been practicing law in Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska since 1983. He handles general civil matters including real estate; landlord and tenant (Landlords only); wills, trusts and probate; business formation (incorporation, LLC, and partnerships).
Mindy Rush-Chipman has been the Director of Equity and Diversity for the City of Lincoln since January 2019. She serves as the Director of Lincoln Commission on Human Rights and also serves as the City’s Equal Employment Opportunity Officer. Prior to 2019, Mindy worked for the Immigrant Legal Center and Legal Aid of Nebraska.
Rick Tast is an assistant city attorney for the City of Lincoln. In his position he serves as legal advisor for the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department, the Community Health Endowment and the Special Events Committee. He also assists with civil litigation on behalf of and in defense of the City of Lincoln encompassing a variety of legal disciplines. Prior to accepting his current position, Mr. Tast worked as an attorney in private practice.
Deanna Hobbs is a Tenant Assistance Project Facilitating Attorney with the NSBA. She is a graduate of the UNL College of Law where she was recognized as a recipient of the Tenants Assistance Project Outstanding Law Student Advocate Award.

All CLE clinics, including dinner, are included in your dues.
The Lincoln Bar Association (LBA) will not be reporting your attendance to the Nebraska MCLE Commission / Nebraska Supreme Court Attorney Services Division unless you are current LBA member or pay your membership dues within fifteen (15) days after the Clinic. You are still required to report your attendance with the Commission: https://mcle.wcc.ne.gov/ext/.
