ABOUT THIS CLINIC AND PRESENTER
This Clinic will focus on legislative bills introduced during the first session of the 107th Legislature. The session will summarize introduced legislation relevant to various practice areas.
Christopher “Spike” Eickholt is an attorney in private practice who was hired as the Lobbyist for the ACLU of Nebraska in the fall of 2015. Spike attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and the University of Nebraska College of Law. While in law school Spike worked as a law clerk at ACLU Nebraska. Upon graduation Spike worked as an attorney at Legal Aid of Nebraska and then as Legal Counsel for the Nebraska Legislature’s Judiciary Committee under then-chair Senator Kermit Brashear. In 2003 Spike accepted a position as a Deputy Lancaster County Public Defender and as a trial attorney represented indigent defendants in hundreds of criminal cases. He is presently practicing as a trial attorney and working in government relations. Spike enjoys politics, current events, hunting and fishing, running and resides in Lincoln with his wife Anna and their two children.

OTHER INFORMATION
All CLE clinics are included in your dues.
There are different MCLE Activity numbers for the live and on-demand clinics. You cannot receive separate CLE credit for both the live and on-demand presentations.
The Lincoln Bar Association (LBA) will not be reporting your attendance to the Nebraska MCLE Commission / Nebraska Supreme Court Attorney Services Division unless you are current LBA member or pay your membership dues within fifteen (15) days after the Clinic. You are still required to report your attendance with the Commission on its website: https://mcle.wcc.ne.gov/ext/.
The Lincoln (NE) Bar Association [LBA] is an accredited CLE sponsor in the State of Nebraska.
